We are growing rapidly and right now we are looking for an addition to our global finance team - Financial Controller. This role is a highly visible position within the Codasip organization. Reporting to the CFO, this senior accounting executive is responsible for compliance and financial reporting across the Company globally. He or she will prepare and maintain accounting policies and procedures, all external reporting, consolidations, internal controls and financial audits.
Requirements
- Monthly preparation of IFRS consolidated Financial Statements and related documents
- External annual financial audits management across all entities
- Ensuring that company meets all regulatory reporting requirements and that it abides by all regulatory policies and procedures
- Define and implement relevant accounting policies and control procedures
- Management and growth of a small finance team to consolidate the business units’ financial results and address a wide range of technical accounting issues
- Present accounting and reporting issues to its superior and other senior management;
- Providing the leadership to the accounting/control organization, ensuring that the function is properly organized, staffed, developed, motivated, and compensated
- Assisting in the preparation and execution of intercompany funding, loan agreements and any other intercompany and group transactions including transfer pricing policy
- Document and improve monthly, quarterly and annual financial close procedures
- Cooperation on a Mamp;A transactions (due diligences)
Core Skills and Competencies Required:
- Formal accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Significant experience with defining and implementing accounting and other finance policies, internal control procedures, performing compliance testing
- In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and proven practical experience with relevant technical accounting areas
- At least 3 years holding (currently or in the past) a management position in an accounting function ideally at group or regional level like Finance Manager, Chief Accountant, etc. previous experience in a Big 4 or any other reputable accounting firm advance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent English (both written and spoken)
Nice to have:
- Experience in IFRS specifics for technology environments such as revenue recognition, internal development costs capitalization, subsidy accounting, equity remuneration
- Willingness to travel, which may include overnight stays on occasion, as and when required
