Since launching in 2018, CloudTalk’s valuation has multiplied 8x, since we have evolved from an embeddable click-to-call widget into an innovative virtual phone suite. We have achieved 2-3x YoY, and grown to employ ~200 people (30+ nationalities) remotely across the world or in one of our offices in Bratislava (HQ), Prague, and Malaga.
Looking ahead, we plan to develop new integrations and in the future set up an AI-focused innovations lab that will bring new ideas to the long-outdated business telephony market.
About the role:
In the past 4 years we've experienced exponential growth (scaled from $1m to $10m in under 36 months) and built a product which can dominate our ICP segment of the calling market.
Now, to make sure we dominate it and scale beyond $100m ARR, we are looking for a CFO that will partner with our executive team, our CEO Martin, and our investors from Point Nine, HenQ and Presto. You will lead and grow a 5-person finance team and scale it from controlling to full-stack finance including FPamp;A and Biz/RevOps.
This is an opportunity to build on your previous experience scaling a $XX+m ARR SaaS and do it better, faster and further. It's also an invitation to build a market leader in the calling space and shape the next generation of startup leaders.
We are looking for someone well-versed in all aspects of the role that include:
- Partnering with the business to improve execution and speed
- Developing growth strategies with varying speed and profitability
- Owning future equity/debt financing
- Driving financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
- Controlling how we spend and advising on a more optimal resource allocation
- Improving efficiency of existing revenue - gross margin (we have a usage component as well as a subscription one), pricing, etc.
- Cash management including AP and AR
- Ensuring compliance, managing risk
- Scaling processes to support future growth, including automation
You will have experience in:
- Scaling a Finance function in a SaaS startup starting from $10m - $25m all the way to $25m - ~100m ARR.
- Leading due diligence and fundraising in Series B and beyond. Ideally, you have experience with other instruments, i.e. venture debt.
- Building a complex Finance team spanning FPamp;A, Controlling, Biz/RevOps across multiple countries.

- Focus on partnering with the business (i.e. improving our GTM teams thanks to your perspective) and clearly communicating our strategy through numbers (to investors, entire team during All Hands, etc.).
- Strong and authentic leader who knows how to select, lead and coach your team through our mutual growth. Your leadership inspires not only your team, but also your peers and other stakeholders (i.e. investors).
- While you understand good-enough, 80/20 and iteration, you never settle, strive to continuously improve and challenge the status quo, where effective.
- Curious about the broad topic of Finance and SaaS business models. You pull benchmarks from your sleeve, can consult issues facing us with your industry contacts and enrich our VC network with your own strong connections.
