As a Team Manager of Entropiq’s CS:GO team, you will have a key part to play in one of the most important gaming divisions within the Entropiq club. Building strong relationships within the team, you’ll work closely with our talent and support our performance staff to maintain Entropiq’s high standards and make sure all involved are great Entropiq representatives. You’ll also be a crucial conduit between the team and other departments to promote a healthy and effective culture within the club.
• Be the mastermind of CS:GO at Entropiq. Help with strategic development and provide necessary expertise to all teams whenever necessary.
• Reliably manage your day-to-day tasks, attend to and help improve relations with the game publisher and other relevant tournament organisers and provide updates to all parties involved about any policy changes, obligations, schedule changes and other updates.
• Coordinate event requirements for players and supporting staff from briefing through to execution.
• Support player well-being to help them reach peak level performances.
• Establish a vast network of contacts within the game’s community, such as event organisers, game developers, journalists, team managers, and players.
• Help with ad-hoc tasks as directed by your manager; generally being readily available on Slack/phone/email, but be prepared to step-in in unexpected situations.
• Support gathering of photo/video content in collaboration with our Marketing and Content creation teams, and advise on content strategy and potential story arcs.
Requirements
• Excellent knowledge of the CZ/SK and international CS:GO scene.
• Background in event or project management (ideally, but not mandatory).
• Outstanding verbal and written communication in English (Czech desirable, but not mandatory).
• A hard-working nature with a sense of urgency and high level of commitment.
• Extreme reliability and very good time management.
• Emotional maturity and ability to critically think when needed.
• Ability to work proactively, flexibly, and autonomously with guidance from senior management.
• Willingness to travel abroad for extended periods.
• Work from our HQ in Prague.
