First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do, because this is a job description), it would be this:

We’re looking for a Senior People Operations Specialist, who will manage employee lifecycle, Mewser’s queries and you will maintain good quality data. You will be responsible for the People processes to be both compliant amp; Mewser friendly. You will support different People programs and be part of improvement amp; innovation projects as Mews People team constantly evolves.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

  • Employee Lifecycle. Once the candidate agrees with the Mews offer, you take over the process from the recruiters and guide future New Hires on their on-boarding journey: including data and information collection, contract creation, New Hire Orientation orchestration and internal enrollment. Shall the Mewser leave to pursue a career opportunity outside of Mews you will guide them through the off-boarding process.
  • People Team Helpdesk. You will be a key point of contact for all Mewsers, answering queries and help interpret Mews policies, guidelines and local labor legislation. You will also prepare documents for employees or respective institutions as needed.
  • HRIS Stack Maintenance amp; People Data Reporting. Mews employee lifecycle is well documented across set of platforms and you will be responsible for the data quality, accuracy and its audits. To support business decisions, you will prepare ad hoc and regular reporting.
  • People Team Programs Delivery Support. You will support your People Team colleagues with communication, execution and follow up activities related to People team Projects and Programs.
  • Data integrity. This role requires emphasis on data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions. As a member of the HR Operations team will provide coverage and support as needed and receive guidance and escalation support from the HR Operations leadership team.
  • Policies and Processes: Responsible for updates to the current employee handbook and other HR policies and procedures for the organization and maintaining knowledge of legal and government regulations affecting HR functions
  • Compensation and Benefits: Managing and maintaining our benefits platform, additionally supporting our managers on job grade and salary banding decisions.
  • Manager Support Tier 3: Support managers in employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and termination processes as needed
  • Ad hoc exciting projects: Perform other related responsibilities duties as assigned


Requirements

You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

  • Experience with Employee Lifecycle management (on-boarding, employee data changes, payroll data collection, contract creation, off-boarding, immigration)
  • Mid deep understanding of labor law legislations (EU legislation preferred) and it’s interpretation within company culture
  • Experience with data management across HRIS platforms
  • Project Management understanding
  • Fluent English
