Tasks and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the definition, management, implementation, and reporting of major initiatives and projects across the EMEA region
• Ensure that projects are properly designed, the scope is clear, well documented and approved, and any change of scope follows the dedicated approval flow
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, in budget and to the required quality specifications
• Anticipate and proactively manage any project risks or issues, escalating any issues that cannot be resolved to the appropriate project sponsor
• Work with respective groups in developing and implementing project scope, schedules and cost estimates and KPIs
• Incorporate operation business data (sales, financial, etc.) into an overall project application for approval of funds
• Work with end users to define problem areas or improvement needs
• When applicable, research alternatives and identify costs, benefits, and risk
• Provide accurate updates on project schedule as well as costs and spending forecasts according to the corporate calendar
• Review deliverables and ensure that any lessons learned are documented and disseminated in the organization
• Build strong relationships at all levels of the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
• Over 4 years of experience designing, managing, and implementing projects in multinational matrix organizations
• Over 2 years of recent experience of managing project people
• PMP or IPMA certification
• Knowledge of MS Project is an advantage
• Knowledge of infrastructure operations and projects
• Knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office suite
• Proven numeracy and business analysis skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare environment is preferred
• Ability to effectively run/facilitate meeting/group discussions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) and in French (spoken and written) , Spanish, or Dutch is a benefit
