About the Opportunity
Dentons Europe is currently recruiting an Interim Integration Lead; to support the implementation of a significant global Finance transformation program in Europe, due to go live in mid-2023. The Interim Integration Lead’s primary responsibility is supporting Dentons’ financial transformation initiative. Working alongside Business Technology team members (regional and global) and transformation project teams, the individual is accountable for the design, delivery and support of all integrations and data aspects of the financial transformation platform to meet all project requirements. Reporting into the regional Director of Financial Information (acting as regional Technical Lead), this individual will be accountable jointly to Business Technology and to the financial transformation project team. The Interim Integrations Lead is an expert in Elite 3E systems or similar enterprise practice management systems. The candidate should have experience working in large global teams. Strong leadership skills are required for this role which will manage regional team members’ work-load. The role assumes responsibility for ensuring the Dentons financial systems’ data and integration points meet the business needs, and that the various platforms are tightly integrated, and data access is controlled efficiently. The individual is also responsible for collaborating closely with all Dentons regions with an objective of ensuring the successful technical integration and continued alignment with evolving Firm standards. This includes collaborating with cross regional initiatives involving other Dentons’ regions. As a polycentric organization Dentons requires this role to drive the development of globally harmonized technical designs with the regional subject matter experts, and then subsequently to support regional alignment and adoption.
The role
- Managing and developing integrations and ensuring all relevant requirements surrounding an application integration is fulfilled.
- Delivering integration code in a timely and consistent fashion.
- Responsible for architecting the integrations between the Elite 3E platform and all upstream and downstream systems to enable the financial transformation initiative.
- Work closely with the transformation team and in particular the Finance Transformation Technical PM, to ensure data and integration designs support the business requirements.
- Coordination of the database, development and integration resources to ensure successful delivery of data solutions throughout the financial platforms.
- Ensuring all existing integrations are documented, developed and tested
- Effective and timely status reports to Business Technology and transformation team leadership.
- Support of other global transformation initiatives in a similar capacity.
- Architect and design of integrations to support Elite 3E and all supporting systems implementation.
- Working with Integration Analysts to ensure requirements are gathered and developed for relevant applications
- Act as a technical reference and lead of the integration and development teams, to ensure business requirements are met.
- Ensure designs take advantage of the capacities of the other Dentons systems, and integration goals are met.
- Proactively provide thoughts and guidance on new technology to enhance data delivery and integration technologies. Think out of the box and be on the lookout for innovative solutions.
Delivery
- · Participate in the successful delivery of the 3E environment and all supporting products by ensuring the integration and data services requirements are met.
- Participate in the successful deliver of all environments connected to 3e, whether upstream or downstream.
- Work closely with the Global Integration Architect to ensure the regional 3E and associated environments integrate well with the global Dentons Enterprise database.
- Ensure developments are delivered within scope and according to the agreed timelines.
- Establish and maintain well-documented descriptions of the database and integrations implementations.
Reporting and Operations
- Carrying out and overseeing Business and functional deep dive and analysis regarding internal Global and Regional integrations.
- Integration planning, development and data-flows documentation.
- Plan for, coordinate and conduct integration development into on-premises, Azure amp; hybrid platforms.
