Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive team player who shares in our passion for powering exceptional always on application experience for our customers. The Inside Sales and Renewals Representative will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales with the focus on support renewals, supporting the German, Austrian and Swiss markets (DACH). Kemp’s sales focus is a channel-centric sales model, and the Inside Sales and Renewals Representative will interact with both direct end-user customers, resellers, and distributors to ensure existing customers continue their relationship with the company.

The Inside Sales and Renewals Representative will work as part of the DACH sales team to progress and manage potential customer and channel partner requests and manage the renewal-base pipeline for the assigned territory. The Inside Sales and Renewals Representative is also expected to understand Kemp’s market offerings and identify and pursue upsell/cross-sell opportunities as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Support Subscription renewal prior to expiration, in line with processes and practices set-out for the region
  • Liaise with Field Sales team members and channel partners, and engage directly with Kemp's end customers, providing quotes, emphasizing value proposition and managing the sales and ordering cycle
  • Identify opportunities to upsell higher support levels, extend support terms and propose upgrade hardware and software for potential and existing customers
  • Maintain accurate information in our CRM about the status of opportunities, and contribute to accurate sales forecasts to the regional Sales Director
  • Ensure a positive customer experience in all your interactions
  • Work to aggressive revenue targets, reflecting the high importance of this region’s contribution in Kemp's overall EMEA revenue goals
  • Contribute to process improvements, and regularly convey feedback from your experiences and interactions with customers, our CRM, and trends you perceive in your territory
  • Coordinate with other relevant departments in Kemp, with a keen focus on maximizing positive customer experience
  • Support the Field Sales teams with licencing and other customer queries referencing our licencing database and CRM systems

Requirements

  • 3+ years Inside Sales experience within the high-tech industry; including experience working to quarterly revenue targets in a process-driven sales environment
  • Experience working within a Sales Channel in the IT market, such as with resellers, VARs, VADs, integrators, consultants, etc.
  • Fluency in German and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both
  • Demonstrated ability in recognising and acting on cross or upselling opportunities.
  • Highly motivated and proactive approach to work with willingness to make direct contact with customers.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiating skills.
  • Detail oriented with an open and professional internal communication manner.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products and CRM applications.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player on complex tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Confident, energetic and organized.

Preferred Knowledge

  • Computing/network product knowledge is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of load balancing is an advantage.
