Our Product amp; Engineering teams build and deploy software products for a wide range of financial market clients with a primary focus on the fund data value chain. Our agile teams come together as global solution providers using the latest tools and innovative techniques.
FE fundinfo has an opening for a Data Systems Business Analyst within its Technology / Data Systems department. The role will involve working on company products to help power FE fundinfo’s business expectations and client deliveries.
Your key responsibilities as a Data Systems Business Analyst will be to:
- Accelerate the agile development of highly automated fund data ingestion portals and data management tools, by using up-to-date technology hosted in a cloud environment.
- Prepare and document clear requirements based on business needs in user stories including acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize product functionalities and coordinate development until acceptance (by testers).
- Support the rollout of projects, new features and processes as well as production support.
- Continuously improve the product by identifying application errors (bugs).
- Be the contact person for stakeholders about their requirements in connection with the product.
Requirements
To join us as a Data Systems BA you will need the following experience and skills:
- You are person with high technical interest and good knowledge of agile SW development following technological trends.
- You will have proven experience as a business analyst/(senior) or requirements engineer/(senior).
- You have experience with product development and Agile methodology.
- You are fluent in spoken and written English. French is considered as a plus.
- You are good team player with independent and structured way of working.
- You work in structured way with high quality standards and performance awareness.
- You work in an international team with people across the globe.
Additional experience:
- University degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration and / or finance is an advantage.
- Knowledge in the financial sector (funds, ETF) is huge plus.
- Strong interest in new technologies, APIs, Cloud infrastructure, etc
- Experience with Atlassian products (Confluence) and Azure DevOps is an advantage.
- Any certifications are considered as an asset
