WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a junior colleague for the role of BI Specialist trainee to join our corporate Finance team.
As a BI Specialist trainee, you will play an important role within our BI Competency Center, utilizing your foundational / solid technical and analytical skills, coupled with an eye for design and attention to detail. You will train alongside BI Specialists, mastering Keboola and Tableau through creation insightful reports for informed decision-making.

SOME OF THE INTERESTING CHALLENGES AHEAD OF YOU
Key activities and responsibilities:
Tableau:
- Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of data models, reports, custom dashboards, and reusable data visualization templates.
- Develop new wireframes in Figma to conceptualize new designs.
- Create reports in Tableau based on specific business requirements.
- Enhance existing visualizations and propose innovative ideas for improvement.
Business Glossary / Data Lineage:
- Gather and maintain key data points and their descriptions in the Business Glossary (Dawiso), ensuring cleanliness in collaboration with Data Stewards.
- Ensure consistency in measure/attribute naming convention across tools.
Data Accuracy and Testing:
- Working closely with the back-end team to create data-marts and test data, identifying and resolving discrepancies in the data platform.
- Identify and rectify inconsistencies and errors in source systems by collaboration with IT support.
Other:
- Assisting in gathering and analyzing business requirements to identify BI and reporting needs.
- Ensuring that reports are presented clearly and accurately, with designs tailored to users' needs and in line with corporate design and brand guidelines.
- Track progress of delivery timeline/roadmap using JIRA and enter detailed issue descriptions for seamless cooperation with the back-end team and business stakeholders.
- Create and maintain documentation of reports data-sources on Confluence.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE
- Analytical skills - basic experience with Tableau or other BI tools (such as Power BI, Qlik, etc.) with a willingness to further develop skills in this area.
- Strong sense of UX/UI, graphic design and data literacy principles.
- Fundamental understanding of SQL, ETL, data warehousing processes, and data governance principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related fields such as Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, etc.
