Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for network engineering and technology, focusing on network and investment decisions.
  • Ensure that the network functions meet the identified business needs.
  • Collaborate with other service owners to identify service dependencies and generate solutions for complex technical challenges.
  • Follow prescribed workflows and procedures based on an industry standard framework (ITIL).
  • Work with company architects and architecture board to ensure network standards are implemented in upcoming projects.
  • Design and document network solutions or new services according to business needs, and hand them over to the deployment team.
  • Collaborate and lead interactions with partners and service providers to achieve the expected objectives, such as Proof of Concept.
  • Provide a clear definition and description of the service, including related documentation, primary use cases, and business value.
  • Drive service maturity and enhancements with partners and internal colleagues.
  • Identify security risks associated with the services and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain the service catalog for each respective service.
  • Manage the total capacity, utilization, features, and resiliency of assigned services.
  • Manage the costs of the service, including benchmarking the total and unit costs, service level and features, and risk profile.
  • Be accountable for demonstrating sustainable productivity in the running of the service, including cost per user and total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Develop a strategy that incorporates all aspects into the service, ensuring it aligns with the company's investment and risk trade-offs.
  • Create a phased deployment roadmap for the service, outlining the short-term and long-term vision and delivering committed results.
  • Report the investment roadmap for the services, including deliverables, expected outcomes, and impact on key metrics.
  • Manage the assets, including hardware, software, people, and processes, associated with the service.
  • Responsible for the renewal process of licenses and hardware.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties.
  • Participate in troubleshooting during critical outages.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in IT Infrastructure is a minimum requirement.
  • Strong overall IT work experience is essential.
  • ITIL 3/4 certification is a plus
  • Certified Technical Specialist (LTM / ASM) or Certified Solution Expert is a plus
  • Demonstrate expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting F5 technologies on an enterprise scale.
  • Proven experience in creating documentation such as HLD, LLD, and network diagrams.
  • Experience in managing network services, KPIs, and SLAs with suppliers/vendors.
  • Desired experience with RFI/RFP processes and the preparation of associated documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
