For our site in Prague, we are looking for Converter Test Technician.
In this role you will perform the following tasks:
- Testing of converters (thyristor + IGBT) with power ranging from 0.5MW to 10MW, according to international standards
- Ensuring complete functionality of the HW/SW converter room.
- Uploading and debugging of software or minor adjustments in software
- Uploading of firmwares
- Administrative activities related to testing of converters
- Close cooperation with the company headquarters in Geneva
Requirements
What we expect:
- Education in electrical engineering
- 2 years of experience in electronical field (power electronics filed is strong advantage)
- Knowledge of power networks
- Willingness to travel as optional
- English at a communicative level to work with colleagues abroad
- Communication talent, ability to reports results clearly
- Professional competence according to the Decree NV 194/2022 6 (obsolete No. 50/1978 Coll.)
- Reliability, diligence, flexibility, independence
