The company is looking for a Test Engineer to work on innovative solutions for the Industrial Control and Protection Division (ICP). The person will be located in the European Innovation Center in Prague, Czech Republic. In this role the person will be responsible for definition, planning, developing and executing of software and system tests to provide a high standard quality of the software products.

Location: Prague, Czech Republic (EU and UA candidates who are ready for relocation to Prague are very welcome)
Your tasks will be:
- Creating of test specifications based on requirements
- Planning and defining of test strategies, test procedures and test goals. Execution of tests and documenting the results
- Analyzing of customer specific problems, error solving and/or working out solution approaches in close cooperation and exchange with the software development team
- Close collaboration with the engineering teams at elaborating and defining new product features and their requirements
- Maintenance and further development of automated testing systems
- Collaboration with engineering and testing teams in Prague and St. Gallen (Switzerland)
Requirements
We would like you to know / have:
- Technical education in computer science, electrical or automation engineering
- Experience in the field of automation or software verification amp; validation
- Good knowledge of automation engineering amp; PLC programming
- Knowledge of industrial automation as well as user experience with field bus communications (e.g. CANopen, Profibus, EthernetIP, EtherCAT, Modbus, etc.)
- Experience in working with visualization software
- Basic knowledge in the field of IT, computer architecture and operating systems (Windows and Linux)
- Experience with script languages (e.g. Python) would be a plus
- Experience in dealing with embedded devices would be a plus
